Evalina London Children’s Hospital Parent Allergy Day

Last month, it was such a privilege to represent Anaphylaxis UK and be a guest speaker at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital Parent Allergy Day. I joined the charity’s Clinical Psychologist, James Dayer and fellow support group facilitator @allergy.strategist to talk about creating a psychologically informed environment.

I spoke about our experience of living with my daughters’ and husband’s allergies, the fear of anaphylaxis, and why I became a support group facilitator.

For me, becoming a facilitator was about turning our personal experience into something positive for others and making sure no one has to navigate the allergy journey alone.

I also shared what our support groups are like and my experience of running them.

Finally, it was so lovely catching up with Fulden and meeting James in person.

Thank you so much for having me!
