Improving The Lives Of Allergy Sufferers

Hi, I’m Sam. I live in East Yorkshire with my husband and two lovely children, who both have severe allergies. Jessica is eight years old and allergic to milk. Georgia is four years old and allergic to egg and certain nuts. Both children carry epipens everywhere they go. It is difficult as milk and eggs are found in so many different foods and I’m constantly checking the ingredients of everything they eat to make sure it is safe. I don’t think people realise how hard it is living with anaphylaxis. It’s not just avoiding the allergens (which is extremely hard!), it’s living with the fear a reaction may happen. I am so excited to campaign for change and improve the lives of allergy sufferers.
