Recently, I went to the local pub and joined the group of lovely parents who run the School Association. It was great to meet the team of volunteer parents, who help plan events and raise money for the school.
I wanted to raise awareness of the girls’ allergies and offer to help in any way I can, to make school events better for the children with allergies. It was so nice they were all so enthusiastic about wanting to be so inclusive of all the different needs of the children. They’re organising a doughnut sale in a couple of weeks and I’m going to hunt down a suitable alternative for those with allergies. So far, I’ve found the Lazy Day Salted Caramel Crispies which are milk free, egg free, gluten free and nut free which would be perfect to sell at the event too. The girls will absolutely love going to buy a special treat after school!
Looking forward to planning and helping with other activities too! It’s so exciting knowing I can help make things better for the girls!
